  • Patent granted to the faculty by Government of India for research innovation entitled "A radioactive trimer complex for the detection of tumors" – patent no. 306804. The Patent application was filed by the Dept. of Science and Technology, Govt. of India vide No.891(DEL)2007 on behalf of Panjab University for the work carried by Dr. D. K. Dhawan, Dr.Anshoo Malhotra, Dr Avdesh and Dr. V.D. Chadha.(Date of Grant 4.2.2019)
  • The faculty of Centre for Nuclear Medicine has been granted financial support by various govt. ageniciesviz: CSIR, UGC, DST, ICMR for the research on development of radiopharmaceuticals for cancer detection..
  • Award of honour to the faculty by Centre for Social work and Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh for displaying exemplary act of commitment and dedication towards community service during COVID-19 pandemic on 23.03.2021
  • Certificate of appreciationto the faculty for publishing outstanding research paper for Panjab University at the 4th Smt. PremLata and Prof. D V S Jain Research Foundation Award Ceremony held at Panjab University, Chandigarh on Jan 15th, 2020.
  • Awarded first prize to the faculty by the board of International Medical Olympicus Association for the research work during 5th International Medical Olympiad (Under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Health of Greece and the Medical School of the University of Thessaloniki), Greece, October 3-6, 2019.
  • Best presentation awardto the faculty, Chandigarh Science Congress (Basic Medical Sciences section) for "99mTC labeled n-acetyl neuraminic acid, a new radiolabeled complex for detection of colonocytes: in-vitro and in-silco study" on 14th March, 2019.
